A critical part of young adulthood is gaining independence and the power to make your own decisions. Most young people anxiously wait for the moment they will get a drivers license. The first years of young adulthood are a critical time to discuss the responsibility that comes with added independence. This lesson presents a financial reality check for young people who may be eager to embrace a new stage of their lives without the knowledge of how to begin. The information is equally important for teenagers, young adults and recent arrivals in the US, who may be already on their own, but have not yet developed solid financial skills.
This module focuses on a critical aspect of young adulthood: getting the right insurance to protect your new responsibilities as you become a driver.
