With a combined budget of over $94 Millions, The ASPIRA Association was ranked by the prestigious publication Hispanic Business Magazine as the third largest Hispanic non-profit organization in the United States. The result of the ranking also indicates that among the Hispanic national organizations, ASPIRA ranks as the largest national organization. The methodology used by Hispanic Business Magazine in performing this survey was as follows. Nonprofit organizations were identified from Internet database lists of tax-exempt organizations in the 50 states and the District of Columbia. A list of these organizations was sorted by financial criteria and screened for descriptions related to Hispanic issues. Qualified organizations were sent a survey asking for information. Organizations were ranked on the basis of annual expenditures.
Base on our growth projections, we expect to be on the second position on next year survey said Ronald Blackburn-Moreno, CEO and President of the ASPIRA Association. During the past five years ASPIRA has been ranked by Hispanic Business Magazine among the three largest non-profits in the USA.
