The Publicity Club of Chicago recognized “Aspira y Aprende a Invertir” PSAs produced by the ASPIRA and Cultural Communications with the Silver Trumpet Award

On May 6, 2012 the Publicity Club of Chicago, the premier communications industry association in Chicago, announced the year’s best of the best in Chicago public relations at the 52nd annual Golden Trumpet Awards at The Palmer House Hilton in Chicago.  The Publicity Club of Chicago (PCC) is the network of inspired Chicago-area professionals making up the nation’s largest independent public relations membership organization. Established in 1941, PCC and its members are Chicago’s public relations community. The Golden Trumpet Awards, the Midwest’s most prestigious awards program honoring distinguished achievement in public relations and communications. Judged and selected from hundreds of entries by Chicago’s top practitioners, these coveted awards are presented annually for excellence in categories representing the full range of PR, marketing and communications practice.

 

The PCC recognized “Aspira y Aprende a Invertir” PSAs produced by the ASPIRA Association and Cultural Communications LLC (a Chicago-based Hispanic owned communications and marketing group) with the Silver Trumpet Award in the Public Service Announcement (PSAs) category.   As designed by ASPIRA and Cultural Communications, the PSAs instilled in the audience the importance of performing financial investments for the future of Hispanic families.  These public service announcements were sponsored by the FINRA Investors Education Foundation. The series of eight PSAs were broadcasted nationally during two years through 165 Hispanic radio stations from various radio networks including Univision Radio, SBS, Radio Campesina, UNO Radio, and CBS Radio among others.
